More than seventy years of religious life,  contact with the various contemporaries of the Mother Foundress, a profound love for the Congregation and a special instinct of a born investigator.... are some aspects that made Ma. Herminia Rodriguez de Armas, a key  and fundamental piece in the transmission of the history and tradition of the apostolic charism and the spirituality of the Congregation. 

The  direct relationship with the contemporaries of Vicenta Maria presented her a special knowledge that would permit her put more life than words when she would speak of the Saint, with a brightness on her eyes, that required the audiience  not to listen only but to feel the presence of " Vicentica " " when she would refer to her infancy or  " to the Mother " when she would mention the foundress. 

The tenacity, patience and constancy in the study and investigation during the " Process for the canonization, in the study of the Genesis of the Constitutions and in the publication of the Notes of the Spiritual Exercises, and those  that add up to the studies of the foundations in Barcelona and Burgos, have marked in a way the sources of knowledge of the history of the Congregation and the life of many of its members.  The work carried out by Sr. Ma. Herminia is an open groove since life continues and does not give harvests without sowing and cultivating.  To her, we owe the breaking of the grounds and the first apprenticeship; the present and future of the Congregation correspond to the maintenance and exploitation of the richness that she had left us as a precious legacy.
