The Religious of Mary Immaculate is the continuers of the Charism and Mission of Vicenta Maria in the Church.  We were founded as a Religious Congregation on the 11th of June 1876, Feast of the Holy Trinity.

The option for Jesus Christ as a response to the call is the basis of all our life; and is the sap that penetrates all the aspects of our identity.

The elements constituent of the Charism that form our identity and that Vicenta Maria received and lived out giving origin to the Congregation are:

• Love, thermometer of our fidelity.  Vicenta Maria said that without this love of charity,  the Institute could not be built.  The passionate desire for the search and carry out the will of God.

• The " passion " for the youth, for its human  maturity, formation, promotion and sanctification.

• Obedience, such as we learn it in the contemplation of Christ, our only Lord, through those persons who show us the right way and send us in the name of the same Lord to the mission.

• The prayer in life and for life, that drives us to be contemplatives in action.

• The love for Mary, the Virgin Mother of Jesus, Model of the new woman and an alternative way to be a woman for the youth today.

• The love of the Eucharist, center of our life, sacrifice, communion in which we live and from which we enjoy.      

The structures in which we  based our  style of life are : The vows :
chastity, as charity and service poverty, as detachment  and work obedience, as expression of faith and love
The Apostolic Community, is a sign of charity, unity and simplicity for the welcoming, promotion and evangelization of the youth.  The Personal Government favors the Spirit of Communication  from subsidiarity, corresponsibilty and collaboration.
